TSUCHI MUD WALL FINISH
Habitus has worked with traditional Japanese Plaster Finish for over 25 years in the United States. We are recognized for introducing Japanese Stucco to American projects. Tsuchi Mud Wall is an interior finish, and is composed of elements; clay soil and straw.
Tsuchi Mud Wall can be applied in various finishes & textures using plastering techniques and finishing tools (we supply). Tsuchi Mud Wall is inspired by traditional Japanese plaster finishes. We propose it for use in both residential and commercial projects. A unique wall finish material with natural properties and an ideal alternative to paint or wall paper.
Tsuchi Mud Wall is natural, non-toxic and odorless (indoor air quality certified) It is applied by skim coat using a hand trowels and tools. You may also include aggregates in the mixture, for example straw aggregate (supplied separately). The materials is delivered pre-mixed, simply add water and mix by hand.
