Do I need to be an architect or designer to buy from the Habitus Outlet?

The Habitus Outlet store was created to service all users including homeowners and builders alike.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express. We also accept Paypal, checks and wire transfers.

Does Habitus ship worldwide?

Yes we service all international customers, please contact us by e-mail info@habitusoutlet.com or by phone to 001.800.729.5120z. Please provide us the order details and destination country. We will provide all the necessary pricing and shipping information. Habitus does not collect any applicable import duties or taxes payable at the destination.

Does Habitus ship to residential addresses?

Yes Habitus recommends the best shipping service according to the customers destination whether it be a residential or commercial address. Often time common carrier services like UPS, FEDEX or USPS are utilized.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Most orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business. Normal transit times by UPS or Fedex are 2 to 5 business days depending on your location. Some orders require longer delivery times because of production time and/or trucking service. We will confirm all delivery details at time of order.

How do I check my order status? Will I receive a tracking number?

You will be able to check on the status of your order on our website or by customer support. Once your order departs a customer support agent will contact you to provide tracking information.

Can I order by small quantities below the minimums?

In some cases we may be able to assist you. But this is determined on a case by case basis and depends on availability. Sometimes products are sold by the single piece, sheet, square foot therefore be sure to check the listings thoroughly.

Do you offer discounts to the trade?

Yes we ask that trade customers contact our customer support by e-mail or phone and we will provide you with trade discount information. Often time a code is provided for online purchase.

Does Habitus offer installation services?

We primarily supply materials only. Although for some products such as our plaster wall finishes, we may recommend a plaster team. Otherwise we may be able to recommend an installer in your area.

Does Habitus offer installation instructions?

Yes installation instructions accompany all products supplied. If you would like to receive an advanced copy, please e-mail customer support and it will be provided. Our expert team is available to discuss in detail with you or your installer, the installation procedures and practices for all our products.

Can I order samples?

We often provide samples free or charge, with no credit card required. On occasion we may impose a fee, for example if samples are needed urgently by over night courier..etc. We encourage sampling the materials before purchasing. It helps to create dialogue and answer any questions you may have.

How big are the samples and how long do they take to receive?

We send small sample swatches around 4″ x 4″ in size. We send them by the postal service, or your choice of express courier service (such as Fedex or UPS), additional charges will apply. Normal delivery time of sample is 2 to 5 days approx.

Should I order extra materials, overage or attic stock?

Yes we highly recommend you order extra material. You should calculate a minimum 15% of overage for cuts, shaping or future repairs. Remember that all materials can vary in color tone and variation from lot to lot.

Is there anyone I can talk to regarding design, installation or maintenance of your products?

Yes our customer support team is available to discuss your project, how to use our materials and upkeep for the future. We like to provide personalized service, therefore our agent will remain available to you throughout the full order, shipment and installation process.
